Lone Tree and Geese

I had seen this tree and field on Rt 206 and had the idea for this photo for a bit, but I needed some snow. I liked the spot because the hill rolled off behind the tree, which made the field appear to go on for a long distance. When we got some snow, I went out on a Tuesday afternoon around 4:30 to try to get a good shot. I had to trod about a 1/4 or so out into the field to be able to get close enough to the tree. I was not expecting the geese at all, it was just one of those “happy coincidences” that occurs sometimes when you taking a picture. I noticed several years later the tree is no longer there.
