This page contains several different ways to view the family tree data I have assembled. In the 1990’s my grandmother, Kathryn Wicker Druding, was contacted by a distant family member and received a paper copy of all the family tree material that had been collected to that point.
I’m not sure who sent it her but it seems to have been a collection of the work of several family historians dating back to the 1960’s who had been corresponding with one another via mail. My father gave that paper information to me when I began researching our family tree. Of course today we have very efficient online web tools such as Ancestry.com that makes sharing and building a family tree much easier. I found it very interesting that as I explored Ancestry.com, I was finding some of the very same information that I had in the paper documentation I was given.

Over the course of about a year or so, I was able to incorporate all the paper documentation that I had into the tree, connecting all the dots that I could. From there I was able add hundreds more Druding’s using Ancestry.com, newspapers.com, online obituaries and news pages. As of this moment, the tree includes 637 individuals.

This chart is a traditional family tree hierarchy containing every Druding, Drüding and Drueding that is known. It combines all the research from all other other family historians that I have obtained into one single file. Since it contains 600+ individuals, it is a little unwieldy. Thole Elsten von Druding Descendent Report

How to read this file:
- Each parent is assigned a unique number
- If a child is also parent, they will be labeled with their unique number
- The file is organized by generation, starting with generation 1 and continuing on to generation 11
- After each person’s name, in parentheses, is the person’s ancestors in sequence, going back to the first Druding, Thole Elsten
- At the end of the file are all the sources for the data in the report
